I'm a 41 year old student attending Jefferson State Community College, working on a 2-year degree, Associates of Art: Art Studio, for preparation to go to a 4-year University for a Bachelor of Fine Arts: Graphic Design and Photography. As with any college student, despite my "plans", I'm also debating the possibilities of going with different degrees, either in Geography and GIS/Cartography or a degree in Secondary Education (teaching at Junior College or 4-year).
I live in Irondale, AL with my wife, oldest son, 3 dogs, 2 cats a mortgage and car payment and a mountain of debt. I own a wedding photography business, work as a bookseller and as a market researcher. In addition to all of this, I'm also a writer, mostly non-fiction though over the past couple of years I've been exploring short story fiction and have been published twice now. A lifelong gamer, I have eclectic interests in history, cartography, political and social science, astronomy, world religions, web design, classical music, blogging, zoos/animals and science fiction. At this point in time, I maintain 3 blogs with plans of adding 3 more.
